Hello. Thank you, I hope you enjoy some of my tutorials. Happy New Year to you too!
Ellie, tremendous list of resources here. I am more than happy to share with my friend network. Thanks!
Thanks Ryan, you have some fantastic posts also. Hope you’ve had a lovely Christmas!
Great blog post! I really appreciate all the advice you give for each of the social networks, especially Twitter!
Hello,
Love your blog. I just added your blog into my “magic middle” blog post as being an up and comer for 2014.

Hello Gregory, thank you so much for the mention!
thank you for that summary of your blog posts.
i did some changes to my blog already.
what about a tutorial about changing the css of headers and so.
Hello, there’s not a lot I can write for changing headers – especially since most people upload a header image, banner or logo. If you want to change the CSS of the header text in Blogger you can do so by adding
.Header h1 { }
to your CSS and adding the style code between the brackets.i’m sorry. i din’t mean the header logo.
I thought about the h1, h2, … headers.
okay I will have a look, where I change the css.
thank you.
Oh okay sorry, headings can be changed by simply altering the the CSS of h1, h2, h3, etc 🙂
Thankyou thankyou thankyou for sharing. I have just found you and subscribed via bloglovin. So much information for dummy’s like me who really just want to create a nice looking blog and not learn – to me – what amounts to calculus or physics. Happy new year to you. Cheers
Thank you 🙂 happy to help. Happy new year to you too
Thank you so much for this list! I just subscribed and been reading all these articles since I found the site. I think they are very user-friendly, and easy to understand, so thank you for your work once again 🙂
ps. I left my site, but it’s in spanish, sorry!
Thank you so much 🙂
How do you change the font in the huge section that you post in to the siderbar?
Like I dont want the same fonts on the sidebar and the posty thing?
xx
Depending on what template you are using you may be able to change the sidebar text in the Template Designer (Template > Customise > Advanced > Gadget Text) if not, you could manually change the sidebar text by adding
.column-right-outer, .column-left-outer, .column-right-outer span { font-family: FONTNAME; }
above</b:skin>
in Template > Edit HTML.Hi Ellie,
I’m sure you’ve probably covered this but I’d love to know how to add a search tab to my blog i.e. people type in a key word and it find posts/pages relevant!
Thanks for your great tutorials!
-Jayllee
Hello! Brilliant idea for a tutorial, it’s quite simple to do but styling can be a bit tricky. Will definitely do a tutorial soon but all you have to do is add the code for a search bar to the navigation (navigation tutorials here). You can use a third party search bar, code your own or use the code from the gadget on Blogger.
Hi Ellie! I am also interested about this tutorial. Your tutorials are so great! I found a tutorial in the internet for adding a custom search bar to the sidebar but I am not entirely happy with it. I am wondering if it’s possible to add the search box above header in blogger?
Thank you!
Hello! Just published a tutorial on adding a search bar to the navigation – http://xomisse.com/blog/add-a-search-bar-to-your-navigation-menu/. Hope this helps!

Hi Ellie,
I am wondering how to add the email subscription form and social media icons to the header section. You can see what I’m wanting on Center Cut Cook. Can you make a tutorial for that? I have search everywhere but I can’t find anything like this. Thank you for your consideration!
Wanda
I’ll do a tutorial on this for you soon 🙂
